Here’s the deal, the founder and CEO of a rapidly growing company (250+ employees), who’s an ambitious, socially minded leader and entrepreneur wants a right hand woman/man to help make ideas happen and navigate the follow through and details.

Our company is infused with the heart to treat our team and our customers very well, but we are fueled by the drive for results to be #1 player in our region and soon the state.

If average is good enough for you, this isn’t the role for you. Your day to day will be fast paced but you will work fairly independently so we will trust that you handle your responsibilities. This isn’t a role for someone who doesn’t expect a whole lot from themselves.

We want someone who’s driven to excel and wants to be a part of something bigger than themselves. Our company has six locations and we aim to grow to over 100 locations.

If you want to grow and rise with a company, this can be a great role for you.

More than anything, assisting in taking action on ideas and moving projects forward. I have more opportunities and responsibilities than I have time for. I need to multiply myself.

I need someone super smart, sharp, passionate and talented with a great attitude and a tremendous spirit of resourcefulness. I want someone who when they encounter an obstacle, they want to find a way around, through, over it, under it, etc.

Someone who is detail oriented, has a very high standard of excellence and wants to make the world a better place, enriching the lives of others along the way. I want someone who’s humble, teachable, and determined. Someone who likes growing.

First priority is being extraordinary at executing and secondarily attention to detail. You likely will love details, fact checking, confirming details (e.g. matching invoices) organizing, creating order, developing checklists and more. You like making things right. You most likely operate and think in an organized fashion and like to organize what is disorganized.

The first 90-180 days of your work, you’ll actually be the EA for the founder and one of his key executives. Then you’ll phase into working exclusively with one of us. The reason for this is the workload will be light with each of us at the beginning but then it will expand.

-Baggage Carrier: Carry personal baggage and issues into work that prevent you from showing up with your gameface on. Yes occasionally stuff happens, but it cannot be frequent.

-Time puncher. This is more than a job/business to us. We want to change the world and make it a better place. We are making a difference in the world and you will be the magnifier of that voice. If you don’t care enough, your creative potential will be diminished and we will receive far from the best from you.

-Need safe, predictable, routine. What is predictable, is that you and I will be doing many different things by the end of the year than we’re doing now. I will be launching two new businesses during the next two months, three if you count real estate development.

-No Bullshit-I don’t want to hear the story of why things didn’t or can’t get done. Let’s find a way to make it happen.

ROLES:

-Yes, you will have some traditional executive assistant type roles such as but not limited to:

-Scheduling and handling travel coordination details.

-Scheduling meetings and calendar details for events.

-Responding to emails.

-Project management in several capacities-we’re building a new facility, I’ve got six current locations and we have different projects in que.

-Managing some domestic items (occasional personal shopping, organizing, coordinating cleaners, etc).

-Coordinating administrative issues like handling credit card disputes, gathering reports, helping prepare for staff meetings,

-Researching and being my 2nd brain to look into details that I don’t have the bandwidth to see.

-Protecting the executive’s bandwidth and focus and handling many of the details.

-Handling 80% of customer issues that stack up in my inbox.

-Handling and double checking monthly routine items.

OTHER NEEDS/WANTS

-You can kindly yet firmly communicate well with me and others when you are navigating gathering details and more. You will have to let me know sometimes when you have too much on your plate as I may not recognize it.

Reliable transportation as you won’t work out of one office everyday. You may work from multiple offices (including some virtual). So if you want to come into the same office everyday, this is not the position for you.

-Tech savvy-is a plus.

-You will be involved in helping me grow and develop 6 businesses as part of our family of businesses. It will be fun, exciting, and challenging.

-You will grow and experience things you didn’t imagine you’d experience. Ultimately, this might be one of the most challenging yet rewarding opportunities you ever have.

-I want someone who would want this position long term and want to grow with the company.

-You will travel occasionally with me to some amazing events and places and meet some really talented people.

-Proficiency in Excel and spreadsheets is desired.

-Some ability to create a slideshow or powerpoint is desired as well.

-Someone good enough with numbers to match invoices, and meticulous enough to fill out forms, asking questions when they don't know, and copying from what they do know.

YOUR SALARY AND HOURS

-Starting pay with be negotiated: but you can expect somewhere in the ballpark of $40,000-$50,000 with bonuses. I also like to reward high performers.

-You will work typically closer to 40 hrs p/wk though some weeks you could work a little less and others a little more.

-Again not a time puncher, but someone who wants to really excel is key.

-After one year of employment, you will receive one week of paid vacation. After year 3 you will receive two weeks.

-Comprehensive Medical plans including, Health Insurance, Dental, Vision, Short/Long Term Disability, and 401K.

-There is additional flexibility on days off with sufficient notice.
