Chemistry Lab Analyst – Cleburne, TXPay rate: $20/hrShift: 6pm - 6amAs a Chemistry Lab Analyst placed with Kelly Scientific Resources, you will be responsible for conducting quality control tests on raw material and product samples per company quality control test methods.Additional Responsibilities:The 3rd Shift QC Laboratory Analyst:

Uses established methods to verify quality of incoming raw materials and outgoing products; performs calculations to determine adjustments that may be required to ensure conformance;

Set up the routine analysis samples for the following shifts.

Prepares laboratory reagents; files retain samples in appropriate holding areas; enters test data into system; files vendor certifications, and raw material and production inspections in appropriate area.

Participates in general housekeeping including routine cleaning and maintenance; and performs other duties as requested by management.

Support plant operations’ and customer quality and process efficiency programs

Customer complaints/Internal Quality Issues/Investigate and provide feedback

Follow Lab Safety and regulatory procedures (OSHA, Hazcom, labeling, MSDS)

Prepare and distribute labels to production staff for packaging

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry is preferred

Ideally have experience with HPLC, FTIR, and Wet Chemistry testing

College Chemistry coursework

Strong Math skills

Temp-to-Hire; Rotating Schedule
