Dart is looking for individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced environment that involves working with and around moving machinery. As a Forklift Operator, you play a critical role in providing our customers with a quality product.Day to Day Role:

Operate gas or electric powered clamp truck to move, stack, load or unload materials, parts and finished goods

Understand customer requirements and decide how to select and load storage areas

Stack product in a uniform and damage-free condition

Coordinate with other departments as needed to ensure proper inventory management

May be responsible for one or more of the following:

Handling customer freight

Stock, collect, retrieve and deliver material and goods

Transport large paper, printer, slit rolls or other large material items

Load and unload trucks or railcar, whether manually or using a PIT

Log the movement of incoming and outgoing materials and goods

General maintenance of the forklift, log sheets and reporting mechanical problems

Analyze available space for materials and reposition materials as needed

Other routine duties such as, assisting in clearing jams, palletizing cases, wrapping pallets, etc.

Core Skills and Qualifications:The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:

One (1) year of experience operating a forklift

One (1) year of experience working in a warehouse environment

Ability to use basic math skills for loading, unloading and inventory purposes

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely job-related processes

Ability to work weekends

Ability to train on any shift

Ability to work on any shift

Good attendance is a condition of employment
