The person in this role should have a passion for data mining and cleansing, data visualization, report automation, project management, process improvement and working with BI systems and tools.The Director, Reporting and Analytics is responsible for providing analytical insight and support to Global Marketing, specifically focusing on all digital campaign performance (email, events, webinars, nurtures/automations, landing pages and more.) This position is part of Oracle Digital Marketing Services and reports to the VP Email Marketing & Analytics. This team is responsible for enabling the marketing team’s forecasting, reporting, and business analysis/support for the Global Marketing Team’s digital campaign strategy.ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilitiesDynamic role in ODMS team supporting Global Marketing responsible for the digital transformation of the team from Reporting to Analytics.Design and develop analytics dashboards and other standard end user reports to showcase KPIs and data trends that highlight opportunities and risks to the business. This includes end user needs analysis, requirements definition, report and dashboard configuration and roll out.

Query, QA and refresh data outputs on a standard cadence and structure to be used by multiple marketing teams.

Perform and validate data across large queries.

Drive data integrity across multiple sources for key performance indicators.

Lead automation/improvement projects, including enhancements and standardization efforts across all lines of business within Global Marketing. Ability to plan and develop a project idea which can be supervised and meets stakeholder deadline and satisfaction.

Lead meetings to get a clear understanding of overall scope, stakeholder requirements and business objectives.

Identify and track appropriate performance measures, key performance indicators and associated drivers.

Proactively partner with teams across Global Marketing to understand variance drivers and provide insights.

Identify inconsistencies, trends and issues for management and drive consistent processes and standard formats.

Proactively communicate areas of concern and recommend actions required to meet reporting commitments.

Present regularly to senior management and key marketing team collaborators and partners.

Develop and manage a team of Analysts responsible for curation and maintenance of all ODMS standard and custom reports for digital marketing.

Personal and interpersonal competenciesCurious about how initiatives across the business will influence key performance indicators;

Able to understand appropriate data and data structure needed to analyze key performance indicator trends;

Able to build trust and credibility with marketing teams;

Take personal ownership and initiative for the achievement of agreed goals; and

Can work optimally with all levels of the company.

Who you areExpertise in Business Intelligence, Sales Intelligence and Data Visualization tools.

5+ years’ experience of web and digital analytics with the ability to analyze and glean insights.

Experience working with CRM and email marketing data a plus.

Significant experience in data extraction & transformation, relational databases & SQL.

Ability to excel in a deadline driven, fast-paced environment.

Ability to get results with little mentorship.

Strong executive presence and communication skills.

Ability to work with peers and counterparts in a global / multi location setup.

Expertise in Office Tools – MS Excel, Power Point Skills.

Collaborative teammate who takes ownership of tasks/projects.

Excellent English communication skills.
