Catholic Community Service is a regional, non-profit organization providing services to individuals and families throughout Southeast Alaska. Our services include programs for seniors, children and families and for individuals needing home health and hospice services. Job Description:

Our organization is seeking a Human Resource Director to oversee all aspects of HR management for our approximately 140 employees throughout Southeast Alaska. The HR Director serves as a strategic member of the CCS senior leadership team and plays an integral part in guiding key business decisions and processes. The HR Director supports our mission and champions our values of dignity, care, and compassion with all our staff, and participates in a team-based management model that values all members.

Duties include:

Agency policy and procedure oversight and development

Assist and advise management and staff in HR matters

Coordinate agency recruiting

Directly support recruitment and retention for Hospice and Home Care of Juneau

Oversight of benefits administration

Coordination of staff training programs

Development of the employee performance review and recognition program

Supervision of the HR Coordinator

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree and/or five years of progressive experience in the human resource or other management capacity. Previous experience as a human resource manager preferred, but not required. Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred or must obtain within four years of hire through Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI). Exemplary people skills necessary for success.

Compensation and Benefits:

The Human Resource Director position is full-time (exempt), 37.5 hours/week. Salary negotiable DOE. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and life insurance, a 403(b) Thrift Savings Plan, paid time off and 12 paid holidays annually.
