IT Operations Manager

IT Operations Manager Contract to Hire Minneapolis, MN (West Suburbs) Must be comfortable being in office 4 days/weekAs an IT Operations Manager , you will be responsible for the strategy, direction, and operations for our technology organization . You will work with stakeholders within IT and business partners within Life Time to drive improved availability, stability, and resilience. Qualifications:

• The position requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related area) with a minimum of five years professional computing experience (or equivalent combination of education and/or experience). Experience with managing an external vendor or third party is desired.
• ITIL Foundation

• Experience creating and leading an event management practice
• Experience managing a CMDB
• Experience working under pressure
• Experience leading teams with wildly different goals
• Ability to partner with diverse teams during large scale outages and deliver goals under short timelines
• Ability to ingest complex technical problems and translate them into high level summaries for an executive audience
• Proven track record driving both process and technical transformation
• Understand business needs to effectively balance criticality/priority for both planned and unplanned IT deployments
