Shipping/Receiving and Quality Control

For over 60 years Elgin Super Auto Parts Inc has been supplying recycled auto and truck parts to auto repair facilities nationwide.

We are looking to hire a highly motivated Shipping/Receiving and Quality Control team member to add to the team.

This is a FULL-TIME position Mon-Fri 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM.

Proper training will be provided.

Job Description:

Perform daily outbound shipping tasks using various shipping software.

Receive and check incoming shipping orders.

Inspect all outgoing and incoming parts orders for accuracy and quality.

Using a tablet and RF scanner to locate and photograph orders.

Adequately package parts to protect during delivery / shipment.

Place orders in correct shipping / local route area.

Effectively communicate with dispatch and production team.

Safely operate a walk behind forklift.

Job Requirements:

Lift up to 75 lbs. without assistance.

Must display a positive and friendly attitude as well as appropriate behavior during work hours.

Read and write the English language.

Have basic Computer skills. (Word, Excel, Adobe)

Auto parts knowledge preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
