Senior Network Engineer - Remote Role

Open senior level network engineer remote role at a major telecommunications company on the cutting edge of wireless technology. They are looking for someone to design, engineer, and support nationwide IP network and WLAN sub-networks, as well as install manage and support a complex highly available wired and wireless network infrastructure. Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years related network design and engineering experience
• RF Design, RF Survey and Engineering and RF issue diagnosis and resolution
• Thorough understanding of WLAN technologies, security, and network technology and management; including, 802.11 b/g/n and point-to-point radio.
• Experience designing and deploying key WLAN applications including Secure Mobility, Voice over WLAN, and Wireless Guest Access.
• Cisco router, switch, and WLAN core skills.
• Cisco NX-OS, IOS-XR and IOS-XE expertise.
• Expert level Inter-networking troubleshooting in a large-scale network environment.
• In-depth knowledge of, and experience with, IP networking, LAN switching, IP routing, network management, network availability, and QOS & capacity planning.
• TCP/IP stack routing protocols experience
• Will be working independently and self-managed much of the time but will also need to collaborate widely within Boingo.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Gathering and organizing data, to make logical decisions based on that data and implement a solution.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office & Visio Suite
