Medium sized Apartment complex in Downtown Savannah GA is seeking a qualified, experienced HVAC Certified Maintenance Person.
The right candidate will possess the following qualities:
Essential knowledge, skills and abilities to explain, demonstrate, and perform, with or without reasonable accommodations, the duties and responsibilities of the position.
Prepare Residential (and a few Commercial) Apartments for next tenant in a timely manner.
Performing general maintenance and using basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, glass replacement, painting,
masonry, appliance repair, electrical wiring and occasionally replacing old HVAC (R22) systems with new (410A) systems.
Operating and maintaining tools used in the maintenance and repair of building facilities.
Basic groundskeeping (trash pickup etc) note: we have a landscaping crew.
Maintaining work logs.
Must be available after hours to handle emergency maintence requests (like broken HVAC systems)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Lift heavy objects (up to 75 pounds).
Climb stairs and ladders (access to a bucket truck will be provided).
Stand or walk for long periods of time.
Stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
Work in an external environment with exposure to inclement weather, and varying temperatures.
May be exposed to hazardous chemicals and materials.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
HVAC Certification
REQUIRED EDUCATION
High School diploma or equivalent.
REQUIRED LICENSES
Valid Driver's License.
