Bookkeeper

The long term temporary-to-fulltime Bookkeeper will work in the Waterloo, Iowa area.Your responsibilities in this role

Oversee accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

Conduct and manage the general ledger

Put together financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

Specify bookkeeping policies and procedures, along with developing a framework to track financial transactions with an established chart of accounts

Monitor accounts by balancing entries

Sustain collections of historical records by organizing documents

Review payments received and record deposits

Requirements2+ years related work experience as a Bookkeeper

Strong familiarity with bank reconciliations

Accounts payable experience

General practice experience

Accounts receivable experience

QuickBooks experience preferred

Previous experience using accounting software
