Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pmParking will not be reimbursedDue to COVID-19 candidate will WAH until Client facilities re-open. Once the Client facilities re-open candidate will be required to be onsite daily.

Assignment CapsuleThe Client’s Experience Design Team is responsible for creating exceptional user-centered digital experiences that achieve business goals and exceed user expectations across a wide range of digital experiences, including web and mobile. The team collaborates with user-research firms and teams across the organization focused on integrating and developing best practices in usability, analytics, accessibility, and cross-platform strategy in an Agile development environment.

As a User Experience Designer, you will: Develop game-changing, industry-leading, enviable digital experiences to simplify the customer experience for multiple lines of business Know the business, how to speak the business’ language, and translate consumer insights into UX strategies and execution that propel us to a bright future Collaborate and build consensus with key stakeholders; always representing the user point of view, striking the balance between the ideal, and the realities of feasibility and delivery Maintain deep understanding of the current experience, business objectives, audience(s), roadmap, features, design trends and best practices, research, metrics, VOC and other measures, competitive landscape, and full Client digital ecosystem Lead efforts to continuously improve the customer experience, including usability testing, heuristic evaluation, competitive analysis, and MVT; share findings with UX, project, and business stakeholders Lead creation of early design sketches and end state vision/design prototypes to help inform strategy Ensure that digital principles, standards, styles, design patterns, and renderings are followed and represented correctly Identify opportunities to stretch current or create new digital Client standards

Role Essentials At least 5 years of experience as an Information Architect, User Experience Designer/Architect, User Interface Designer, or Interaction Designer A portfolio that demonstrates the ability to strategically create compelling user experiences that factor in business goals, development capabilities, design standards and user needs Strong understanding of interaction design principles and current global UI/design pattern standards Strategically adept with a penchant for curiosity; determined Ability to prioritize and stay focused on fewer, bigger, better, and faster In-depth knowledge of performance metrics Demonstrated ability to work with and influence stakeholders to determine business strategy in the digital arena, develop and execute big ideas while maintaining collaborative working relationships. Experience designing with business, technical and design guideline constraints Experience in working on multiple projects simultaneously Ability to adapt existing processes and deliverables when necessary to meet project needs and improve efficiency and quality Demonstrated ability to design complex transactional user interfaces and interactions for web, mobile and cross channel experiences Experience creating conceptual models, site maps, interaction flows, design patterns, UI specifications, taxonomies and metadata frameworks Demonstrated experience in defining research criteria, leading or participating in user research, and translating user research into design decisions Ability to track and predict industry trends Experience creating interactive prototypes (e.g., Axure, Sketch, InVision, Adobe XD)

Role Desirables Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction or similar field; an advanced degree in human computer interaction, user interface design, human factors or design planning, is preferred Significant relevant work experience may substitute for an advanced degree At least 2 years of experience integrating responsive design into Information and/or Experience Architecture Self-starter who can make significant progress with minimal guidance Experience creating accessible designs Blend of corporate and agency experience is a plus Familiarity with online usability testing platforms such as Optimal Workshop, UserZoom and Usertesting.com
