  • WD IT and Iowa Division of Labor are seeking an experienced project manager to lead a platform upgrade of the AMANDA system (v6 to v7).
  • IWD IT and the Iowa Division of Labor seek an experienced project manager to lead a platform upgrade of the AMANDA system (v6 to v7).
  • IWD IT and the Iowa Division of Labor (Idol) seek an experienced project manager to lead a platform upgrade of the AMANDA system (v6 to v7).
  • The AMANDA system is a licensed platform provided by Calytera/Granicus to issue permits/licenses and perform inspections of Iowa Division of Labor programs:
  • Elevators, Amusement Rides, Contractor Registration, etc.
  • The system is due for a significant platform to upgrade to be performed by a third-party service provider.
  • The AMANDA project manager coordinates all project activities between the vendor, IWD IT, and Idol staff while overseeing and actively managing the project budget, scope, and timeline.
  • This position reports to the IT EPMO Bureau Chief, interacting day-to-day with the vendor team and Idol staff.
  • This position is responsible for providing timely updates to IT, EPMO, and Idol leadership.
  • In addition to project management responsibilities, this position facilitates requirement sessions with Idol staff regarding updates necessary during the platform upgrade or subsequent enhancements.
  • The project manager will establish a change management model for Iowa Division of Labor staff for intake, review, approval, prioritization, execution, and acceptance of all change requests.
  • A good candidate for this position will be a project manager with experience managing a technical project, progressing through all SDLC phases, managing relationships with a vendor, and varying groups of stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with the AMANDA platform desired.
