Location: Horsham, PA Description: looking for a .net application developerPosition: Application Developer Reports To: Senior Application ArchitectEmployment Type: Full Time (Remote within region)Office Location: Horsham, PA Department: EngineeringSummary:Work with the Audio Channels Development team to develop and support systems that support the playout of the audio channels that serve 60+ million consumers.The Environment:We mainly develop web and .NET Core services using C#, with a few internal UIs as well. Our internal web services and internal UIs are built in .NET Framework or Core, interact with data in SQL Server, and are hosted on Windows servers. Our .NET Core services that support our playout systems are hosted in Linux environments and interact with data via MongoDB. All code is source controlled using Azure DevOps/Git with frequent pull request reviews and continuous integration.Primary Responsibilities: 1. Share responsibility of and contribute to services, internal UI's, and processes to enhance company products.2. Work on with internal users to gather and document requirements to take through to design to deployment.3. Participate, document, and contribute to support tasks as scheduled.4. Adhere to company development processes.a. Including documentation, coding standards, team design reviews, code reviews, and pull requests.b. Contribute to the continued effort to improve upon development processes, identify deficiencies, automate manual tasks, and suggest improvements.5. Be familiar with all company products and services, possess solid knowledge of competitors products and their services.Competencies, Qualifications, and Requirements:• Proof of vaccination is a condition of employment• Minimum 3+ years developing business applications• Proficient in: C# .NET Web API Services Entity Framework SQL Server 2008+ (we are in 2017) BS in Computer Science or equivalent years of experience• Preferred experience in/with: Linux application development and support MongoDB Front end frameworks (Angular or React is a plus) Unit testing and dependency injection (DI) Strong project and resource management skillsContact: This job and many more are available through The Judge Group.
