Transit Operations Supervisor

Under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager, the Operations Supervisor oversees and supervises daily transit, fixed route, and paratransit operations. The Operations Supervisor will have a high degree of understanding of departmental and functional operations and able to work with considerable initiative.

Under management guidance, the Operations Supervisor will administer operating policies and procedures within set limits. The Operations Supervisor will have frequent interaction with all employees of the agency, including key customers (internal and external), to provide detailed procedures and respond to technical questions. Resolves scheduling conflicts and assists with the investigation and resolution of customer complaints; assures operating policies are followed and coordinates maintenance and repair of vehicles.
