Job#: 1282218 Job Description: Apex Systems is currently supporting a handful of Telecommunication Offnet Transport Engineer based in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. If Interested please send me an updated copy of your Resume at Description: Offnet Transport EngineeringJOB DUTIES:- Responsible for securing offnet capacity in support of customer and/or internal infrastructure requirements. This typically includes loops via LECs and CAPs.
- Duties will include soliciting vendors for availability and pricing and choosing the best match to the customer requirement.
- Addressing Access Unification 1g and 10g inquiries in support of the ongoing savings migration work; working VRD and WFM fall-out on wave, TDM, and Switched Ethernet orders.
- Assisting with special projects as necessary
- 5-7 years of telecom experience preferred in Planning or Provisioning role;
- Proficient knowledge of Excel a must
