GENERAL WAREHOUSE - DIRECT HIRE - BONUSES

Description: Receives inbound materials and marks materials with identifying information

record amount of material received; sort materials and stock on racks, shelves or bins in accordance with size, color, type, or product code

Arrange materials for order assembly.

Reads order forms/schedule to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.

Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.

Move materials within warehouse to appropriate department (shipping, production and/or storage),

Assembles customer orders from stock and places on pallets or shelves, or takes orders to packing station or shipping department.

Housekeeping duties including all forms of warehouse cleanup.

Use electric pallet jack (double walkie rider), cherry picker, reach truck. If candidate is afraid of heights, they won't be on a cherry picker

Work on a production schedule to meet a quota (timed, not piece rate)

Operating equipment while using a voice pick system (a blue tooth headset that tells them the next order) to find pick location

Work towards meeting and exceeding minimum expectations

Perform loading and unloading functions or shrink wrap and inspect final product on the shipping dock.Operate equipment for the following:

Ability to speak, read, and write English with proficiency.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
