Banking Ops Specialist IThe Banking Ops Specialist I supports routine day-to-day operations of consumer and commercial banking. Under close supervision, this job performs maintenance on client records by verifying and updating account information by following established policies and proceduresKey Responsibilities and DutiesMaintain client records by verifying and updating account information by following established policies and procedures.

Answers service calls and responds to customer questions to ensure customer gets the information they require.

Maintain bank operations by following established policies and procedures and reporting needed changes while complying with federal, state, and local banking regulations.

Ability to develop and strengthen partnerships throughout the company, share knowledge, and collaborate to solve problems.

Researches routine customer, branch or bank inquiries and escalates issues as necessary.

Resolve product or service problems in a timely manner by listening, determining the cause of the problem, selecting, and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting the solution and following up with the client.

Considers multiple resources and records when investigating customer inquiries.

Ensures work is properly safeguarded and controlled in accordance with banking policies and procedures.

Basic math, clerical, and typing skills.

Full knowledge in the use of a personal computer.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of service.

Effective verbal and written communication skills; capable of tailoring communication to each unique situation.

Active listener that can ask necessary questions to clarify any ambiguity.

Demonstrates proficient product knowledge and schedule adherence.

Consistently meets Operational KPI’s and quality standards.

Complete all duties as assigned.

QualificationsBanking servicing experience preferred.

Hybrid work model.

High School, Preferred.

Preferred QualificationsProficiency with Microsoft Suite.

Physical RequirementsSedentary Work.

1ICPotential Salary: $20.29 USDActual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
