We practice these values by building self-organizing teams of diverse perspectives, co-designing meaningful solutions with educators, learners, parents, employers, and jobseekers worldwide, regularly measuring impact, and continually improving.Position Summary:This position is for staffing the AI Lab Business Capabilities Team, where we are specifically looking out for individuals who have exposure, experience or even expertise in the following:Responsibilities:Develop Artificial Intelligence (AI)/ Machine Learning (ML) models to achieve objectives as outlined by Senior or Principal AI Engineers

Implement effective methods of AI/ML model testing during development, deployment, and recalibration

Train and deploy machine learning models and provide metrics to document and track their performance

Improve existing features and develop new features (feature engineering)

Productionize and maintain models

Utilize best practices around design, coding, automated unit, regression testing, and deployment of AI/ML models to production

Utilize best practices in the responsible use of AI

Work effectively in the agile-at-scale framework

Clearly communicate findings to senior leadership

AI/ML engineers will make heavy use of existing ETS automated scoring systems and technology, including some open-source software packages developed at ETS, such as SKLL (a wrapper around scikit-learn) and RSMTool.Required Experience:Education, Certifications, or Special Licenses:A Master's Degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering or a related field

Relevant Years of Experience:At least three years of training or experience in AI/ML algorithm development

Experience in technology-enhanced learning solution research and development

Other Requirements (desirable, not all required):Python/Bash/Java programming skills (in descending order)

Familiarity with scikit-learn

Machine learning experience

Familiarity with the Unix/Linux command-line environment

Jupyter notebook experience

Familiarity with Docker

AWS experience

Understanding of Git
