Position/Job Title: Executive Assistant II

Work Location: Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling,DC

Job Summary: KaiHonua, LLC is actively seeking to fill our open Executive Assistant II position. The candidate shall provide operations and executive assistance support to the executive team. This contract provides acquisition support to the projects managed by the Department of the Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office (DAF RCO) which include advanced combat system acquisition and sustainment activities of interest to the Department of the Air Force (DAF). Many of these projects are critically needed national security capabilities developed on aggressive schedules with demanding performance requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Not listed in order of importance; other duties may be assigned) and must be able to perform the following with minimal guidance:
  • Support Senior Officers and Executives (0-6 and above, GS-15 and above.
  • Possess DoD acquisition program experience supporting the "front office" of a major product development program.
  • Possess experience organizing meetings and using tools to identify, track, and manage on-program suspense and action items.
  • Prepare, maintain, and ensure accuracy of leadership calendars and schedules.
  • Plan and book travel, and prepare, verify, and process travel vouchers upon return within Defense Travel System.
  • Possess experience booking travel and processing vouchers with the Defense Travel System.
  • Coordinate appointments, correspondence, and communications with other senior executive administrative assistants.
  • Manage, generate, and coordinate executive correspondence and documentation.
  • Possess experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat applications and the Edge, Firefox, and Chrome web browsers.
  • Order and manage office supplies, including paper and printer ink, through the DAF RCO supply ordering process.
  • Other duties assigned.

Education and/or Experience/Skills Required:
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant DoD/IC or relevant industry work experience
  • Bachelors of Arts/Bachelor of Science (BA/BS) degree
  • Must be a US citizen

Physical Requirements: Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have enough mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weight up to thirty (30) pounds, as necessary.

Security Clearance: DoD active security clearance may be required at a high-level security. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
