Join our team in Pasadena as a BIM Coordinator, and lead 3D Modeling of both conceptual designs, as well as detailed designs into construction for rail stations across the US!We are engaged in some of the most interesting and transformative urban transportation and infrastructure projects in the United States. In this role, you will work as part of a team, to facilitate models from other disciplines and coordinate the design of Rail Stations for major high profile, design/build projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the various designs/models work together for a cohesive design, including creating final 3D designs, and providing final models to the client. Facilitation of design data exchanges across multiple software platforms and hosting services.

Implementation and coordination of BIM files, clash detection and resolution, standards review and model health checks.

Review of models for clashes, issue and maintain clash reports, and coordinate with individual design disciplines to resolve clashes.

Assist in maintaining the project Family library, review and clean families downloaded from websites

Review and verify the models follow project standards, clean up non-standard elements, provide a model health report and meet with the Discipline team to review file clean up.

Participate in BIM meetings and facilitate regularly-scheduled meetings related to Clash detection and resolution

Assist in development of BIM Execution Plan and maintaining them with updates over the life of the project

Conduct constructability reviews with subcontractors and facilitate discussions on alternate construction methods

Integration of 4, 5, 6, and 7D Metadata into BIM models to allow their utilization for cost, schedule, sustainability and asset management

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years' experience as a BIM Coordinator on a transit or similarly complex infrastructure project

BS degree in Architecture or a related field required, or equivalent

10 years or more of relevant design and BIM coordination experience is preferred

4 years of experience working in design engineering or field construction preferred

Fundamental knowledge of engineering and construction-related processes

Must be well versed in Navisworks Manage, Revit, BIM 360 and Civil 3d as essential

Microstation, InRoads, V8i skills preferred

Project-wise skills preferred
