OVERVIEWBlooom seeks a Client Service Representative to join its mission of providing affordable, professional financial help to the masses. We developed an online, automated tool that manages an individual's employer-sponsored retirement accounts and manageable IRAs. Clients who join blooom finally have a partner they can count on to optimize their portfolio by working to reduce hidden fees, aligning their stock/bond mix to their retirement horizon and navigating the emotional journey towards retirement.

Here’s what you’ll own:The Client Service Representative will own the entire client experience. They will help the client with all questions or concerns while also working to educate and delight our clients and prospects. They will also be responsible for keeping a pulse on the client experience and communicating that information to multiple departments to assist with improving blooom’s growth and retention rate.

Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

  • Rebalance new and existing 401k and IRA accounts when needed.
  • Provide live chat coverage online with Clients and Prospects.
  • Answer prospect questions during the client onboarding process in a timely manner.
  • Educate and reassure clients during times of market turbulence.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity/technical issues.
  • Give prospects and clients a positive and fun experience.
  • Utilize chat and email to engage with clients and keep a pulse on their experiences.
  • Track client feedback and relay insights and deliverables to the company.
  • Document details of issues, account changes and transactions, and report to the Development Team, as necessary.
  • Assist in development of blooom proprietary onboarding and marketing tools.
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal development departments as needed.
  • Organize work-flow to meet timeframes.
  • Special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Here’s the experience and values we are looking for:

  • Strong people skills and ability to think creatively.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through chat and email (Intercom experience a plus).
  • Patience when working through account issues and/or educational conversation with clients.
  • Proven organizational and time-management skills with strong multitasking and problem-solving background, as well as a proven ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced environment and flexible workflow.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Choose to do the right thing over the easy thing.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years client/customer service experience
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred
