We are currently recruiting to fill the following position:Job DescriptionPRIDE IndustriesJob DescriptionJob: Business ManagerJob Code: A47 - PR-Business ManagerHR Title Group: Federal Contracts (Facilities)Salary Grade: E14FLSA Status: ExemptApproval Date: August 2017SUPERVISES:There may be direct reports with this position.POSITION SUMMARY:Under minimal supervision, the Business Manager directs and manages the operations of all financial and business affairs of a federal services contract (accounts payable, purchasing and asset control). Employees in this job class review and negotiate subcontractor agreements for terms and conditions, oversee and manage site physical and financial assets and are responsible for information technology technical support. This job class requires comprehensive knowledge of effective management techniques in accounting, procurement, warehouse and asset management and information technology and the ability to organize, budget, and manage multiple projects.TYPICAL DUTIES:

Develop and maintain business flows and procedures for purchasing, asset management and IT infrastructure support.

Establish and maintain business Key Process Indicators (KPIs) for the site.

Publish weekly and monthly site management reports to the site and upper management.

Manage the site budgets, set budget goals, and objectives for support services, set goals and objectives, manage subordinates, and make decisions for purchasing, accounting, budgeting, asset management and control, and information technology support services, work control, cost estimating, scheduling, and dispatching.

Prepares annual and periodic project budgets and financial reports, prepare financial projections, and maintains current financial status of expenditures, obligations, and balances of the contract line item accounts. Develop project budgets, track expenditures and financial obligations, and prepare status reports for physical and financial assets.

Manage compliance with contract terms, conditions and obligations. Manage and ensure all contract deliverables are complete, accurate, and submitted on time. Develop a professional working relationship with key contract personnel, and establishes official lines of communication. Provide for quality control, inventory management, record keeping, and management reporting.

Coordinate, direct, and manage the timely and effective delivery of supplies, materials, equipment, subcontracts, information technology services, budgeting and production reports, and asset management and accountability.

Manage accounts payable through invoice tracking and resolves invoice miss matches and identified by the customer.

Manage the operations, maintenance and user support of the Company’s IT hardware, networks and operating systems in support of a federal contract at a military installation. Track all contract documents, maintains official contract files, and updates all contract modifications and contract changes. Prepare proposals and pricing for contract modifications.

Manage the Company use of the federal Information Technology systems, input, reporting, and access.

Participate in a variety of federal, departmental and other meetings on a regular basis.

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Five years or more of business management experience including profit and loss responsibility and budgeting; Three or more years of experience in budgeting, accounting, logistics, and production control; Knowledge of planning, purchasing, and project management; Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; to make presentations and respond to inquiries by management, team, vendors and/or customers; Human relation skills to build effective relationships with team and internal customers; Intermediate to advanced computer literacy including knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software; Knowledge of business English including vocabulary, spelling, and correct grammatical usage and punctuation; Mathematical skills to include the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations; Ability to establish priorities and solve a wide range of business problems; Demonstrated customer service, common sense, problem solving and analytical skills; Flexibility to respond to changing work priorities and handle numerous projects at the same time.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelors in Business Administration or related fieldA comparable combination of formal education and work experience will be considered.CERTIFICATES OR LICENSES REQUIRED:The following licenses or certificates may be required depending on local, state and/or contract requirements:Fed Security ClearancePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance: Viewing computer screen/monitor Utilizing keyboard Answering phone/making callsWORK ENVIRONMENT:Work is performed in a normal office environment with limited privacy and some exposure to background noise.DISCLAIMER:The above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
