BUILDING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN for Real Estate Portfolio

Efficient operation, maintenance and repair of all building systems including:

o HVAC, Electrical, Lighting, & Plumbing Systems

o Water treatment programs, Fire Protection &Life Safety Systems

o Structural, hardware and keying systems

Following inspection and service procedures outlined in preventative maintenance and loss control programs

Respond immediately to emergency situations (fire, evacuation, equipment failure, etc.)

Demonstrating exemplary customer and staff relations while working closely with tenants, vendors, maintenance staff and Property Management teams.

Complying with all applicable safety codes, regulations, governmental agency and company directives as they relate to building operations.

Supervise, execute and assign maintenance tickets and punch-out/turnover for Commercial Bldgs. & residential apartments in DC, MD and Virginia.

Requirements and Qualifications desired for the position:

HVAC or Operation Engineering Technologies and/or equivalent job related training and experience

CFC Training and certification for equipment servicing (a plus)

Minimum of 2 years of field experience

Basic computer skills necessary to operate Building Automation Systems

Knowledge of OSHA, NEC, and NFC codes and regulations

Availability for some over time hours and be able to pull on-call once a month.

Strong communication, administrative and organizational skills

Experience with Fair Housing regulations.

Ability to Thrive and Lead in a Team Environment

Valid Drivers License Required, with good driving record

Candidate must have strong work ethic, be service oriented, a team player

$41k to $62k salary with use of company vehicle with Valid Drivers License Required, good driving record and Insurance Approval
