Bed Technician I, II, III

Medical Service company seeking Bed Repair Technician to join our team! Our ideal candidate will have experience working on several makes and models of hospital beds. They will have knowledge on repairing electronic and/or mechanical components and a high attention to detail. There will be occasional travel related to managing bed pickups, deliveries and onsite repairs. You will be entering hospitals and must be comfortable doing so. This is a fast-past environment and a good attitude and ability to be flexible is key. You must have the ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities:

Test, repair and troubleshoot hospital beds

Assemble new products

Perform routine maintenance

Maintain inventory

Perform quality inspections prior to using parts

Computerized order processing

Electronic scheduling

Shipping and receiving

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a biomedical technician or CBET/BMET certification preferred

Knowledge of general tools and equipment

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Deadline and detail-oriented

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Ability to be self-starter and team supporter

Experience Tech I:

1 – 3 years of bed repair and maintenance experience

Experience Tech II:

3 – 5 years of bed repair and maintenance experience

Experience Tech III:

5 – 7 years of bed repair and maintenance experience

Travel:

Must travel to customer site

Travel time 10% - 30%
