What is the job?

Read, interpret and work from complex and detailed assembly drawings, blueprints, and measurements.

Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies at Turbo shop- skid assembly

Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.

Fit, align and adjust metal components and units to close tolerances

Check work to ensure conformance to specifications

Perform troubleshooting and rework

Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.

Maintain tools, equipment and work area in accordance with 5S principles.

Follow all quality and safety procedures

Maintain consistent and regular attendance to meet production schedules

Other tasks as assigned

What you bring to the job?

High School diploma or GED required

Ability to pass a Background Check and Drug Screen

Two to five years of experience in mechanical assembly of high-speed machinery such as turbines, turbo expanders, compressors, turbo chargers, pumps, rotating machinery or other related machinery

Knowledge of manufacturing processes

Actively listens to understand, asks questions as appropriate and responds well to questions

Manages and completes tasks on time, plans, prioritizes, and organizes work to meet deadlines; good follow through and attention to detail

Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, be detail-oriented and thorough
