Looking for a detail-oriented person to manage the service department who repair and maintain air conditioning systems in residential and commercial buildings. Responsibilities include providing high level of customer service, develop lasting customer relationships and managing service team members. The Service Manager maintains a strong working knowledge of all industry standards and practices.

Responsibilities:

-Delegate and direct service tasks.

-Handle customer complaints or concerns quickly and professionally to maintain good customer relationships and ensure repeat customers.

-Assist with or perform administrative tasks, such as manage and update invoices, process new orders and track inventory.

-Prepare and send proposals in timely manner.

-Maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, dealers, and sales representatives.

-Recruit, hire and train new employees in company procedures.

-Review work orders and time reports for accuracy.

-Able to trouble shoot and multi-task.

-Able to go on service calls as necessary.

-Maintain strong working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions and laws. Remain current on the industry standards and new innovations, materials, tools and processes.

Requirements:

-Excellent customer service and sales skills.

A/C knowledge helpful but not a must

-Strong industry knowledge.

-Excellent oral and written communications skills.

-Computer literacy and good organizational skills.

-Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

-Ability to work under pressure and handle stress.

-Ability and willingness to work non-standard schedule: nights, weekends and holidays as/if required.
