Shared Services - Enterprise Data Warehouse (Full-time, Day Shift) -Our mission is to continue the teaching and healing ministry of Jesus Christ. Our core values are compassion, integrity, excellence, teamwork and wholeness.The Data Analyst works with the ETL Developers and Visualization Developers to identify data requirements, manage definitions, and contribute to the overall Meta Data Management (MDM) initiatives. Advises data stewards, department leads, and operational users regarding reporting methodologies to make operating and decision making activities more efficient. Reviews operational and clinical processes and defines functional requirements. Analyzes for implementing small to major, complex integrated reporting and dashboard projects. Performs complex professional and advisory functions for aiding the Enterprise Data Warehouse in the appropriate definitions, retention, and distribution of Health data. Collaborates with project managers, business analysts or acts as a business analyst at times. Leverages data literacy and knowledge of data visualization tools to create necessary reports or dashboards. Performs other duties as needed.Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Health Information Systems or related field required. Minimum two years of experience in Acute Hospital, Management Services Organization, Medical Group, Independent Physician, College or University, or other Healthcare related establishment in a Finance, IT, Health Information Management, or Analytical role required. Experience may be considered in lieu of Degree. AHIMA certification as an RHIA (Registered Health Information Analyst) preferred. Other relevant Healthcare or Data certifications preferred.Basic understanding of Query languages (T-SQL, PL-SQL, or MySQL) and Business Intelligence tools (i.e. Tableau, Crystal Reports, Power BI, etc.) preferred. Understanding of clinical and financial healthcare terminology is preferred. Business acumen (keenness and quickness in understanding and dealing with a business need in a manner that will lead to a quality outcomes). Ability to make good judgments and quick decisions. Able to read and write legibly; Able to communicate effectively and professionally in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; Use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Able to communicate basic concepts in concise, eloquent form to peers and leadership verbally, in writing and through pictures or diagrams when appropriate. Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; Work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure. Lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate; Accept direction. Ability to deal effectively with people and elicit support from other department areas, vendors, and customers. Excellent analytic, communication, and documentation skills. Able to demonstrate excellent planning, problem solving, analysis, documentation, presentation, and organization skills; analyze and interpret data, processes and needs based on limited information; organize work and resources; define problems and solutions, prioritize work load; manage time effectively and plan and implement objectives; work independently; perform basic math and statistical functions; manage multiple assignments; compose written material; work well under pressure; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.Additional Information
