Position Overview:Job Summary:TheAccountingAnalyst performs accounting, financial reporting, and financial analysis responsibilities as needed for SutterPacific Medical Foundation (SPMF) and its affiliated medical groups.The analyst may prepare or review journal entries, general ledger account reconciliations, and financial reports for accuracy and compliance with GAAP and the policies and procedures of Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation (SPMF) and its affiliated medical groups. Reviews PSA (Professional Service Agreement) and physician employment agreements and ensures validation of contract provisions. In addition, the analyst can have responsibility for the research, modeling, and analysis required for month end reporting, negotiations, and new agreements related to the PSA. Prepares monthly and annual reporting packages. Provides financial data and graphs for Finance Committee and Board presentations. Reviews provider productivity data (charges, collections, RVU’s) compared to benchmarks, including calculation and review of potential targets and payouts. Assists with accounting application updates and conversions. Leads ad hoc projects as assigned.As a team member in SPMF Finance, Maintains a positive and professional work relationship with all customers and team members.
