Inside sales representative (Victoria,TX)

Action Gypsum Supply is a leading distributor of commercial and residential building products specializing in wallboard, steel framing studs, insulation, and acoustical ceilings. We currently operate 11 branches throughout the state of Texas and are looking for an Inside Sales representative for our new Victoria, TX location.

Responsibilities include:

- Sale of residential and commercial interior building products by phone (call-in) and in-person counter sales

- Build long term customer relationships by providing price quotations, taking material orders, and insuring orders are properly placed and delivered on time

- Learn product features and associated customer benefits for major product categories and be conversant on application of those products in residential and commercial applications

- Educate customers on new products and suggest relevant products to meet customer requirements for their projects

- Follow up on customer inquiries

- Assist outside sales representatives with day to day account management

- Order and follow up on special order materials

Comply with branch operational requirements by ensuring properly completed customer invoicing, handling order processing, assist in maintaining branch appearance and inventory, lifting and or moving up to 50 lbs with assistance, and other operational responsibilities as needed

Knowledge, skills and abilities required:

- Excellent customer service skills

- Ability to manage multiple projects at once while maintaining a positive, teamwork oriented attitude

- Strong oral and written communication skills

- PC literacy

- Fluency in Spanish.
