Senior Software Engineer

The Boeing company is hiring for a SeniorSoftware Engineer (Level 5) to perform software design development, and integrationinTukwila, WAfor the AEW&C Wedgetail 5A program. The selected team member should enjoy working collaboratively with others, have a commitment to customer satisfaction and process improvement, and is successful working in a multi contract/multi-program environment.Position Responsibilities:Design and development of complex Mission Computing software architecture.Major contributor in developing software requirements.Advise management on technical issue.Provide solutions to complex technical problems.This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Qualifications):10or more years of experience with C or Java programming languageLinux and Windows development environmentObject-Oriented Design MethodologiesHardware and software integrationSoftware configuration management toolsReal time embedded software design and development methodologiesPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Mission Computing Systems architectureMission Computing subsystem domain knowledge (ESM, EWSP, COMM, Radar, Tracking)Agile software development processesCyber SecuritySystems Engineering conceptsTypical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience).
