Lead Delivery Driver / Closing Driver - DSF5 - South San Francisco

You will be a team leader that not only drives and delivers packages, but you will lead the other drivers in safety and efficiency.

The position also requires closing responsibilities of checking out drivers and their vehicles for the day and making sure that the fleet of vehicles is ready for the next day.

No Commercial Driver's License needed.

JOB DETAILS :

$21 to $23 hourly pay depending on experience

Shift will be 8 hours and start at approx. 1pm and end at approx. 9pm (The TLC Difference! We strive to keep all shifts to 8 hours)

We have operations 7 days per week. Full time employees will work 4 to 5 days / week.

QUALIFICATIONS :

21 years of age or older.

Possess a valid driver€™s license (Commercial Driver€™s license NOT required).

No more than 2 accidents / tickets / infractions in 3 years (Driving Record).

Pass Pre-employment drug test (5 Panel Drug Test, No Marijuana).

Ability to lift, push, pull and move boxes up to 50 pounds each.

Great attitude and energy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Lead a team of drivers and make sure that the group / team is successfully delivering safely and on-schedule.

Inspect vehicle fleet for damage and check-in other drivers as they return for the day.

Prepare vehicle fleet for following day's schedule.

Successfully handle and deliver packages to customers on time.

Safely driving company vehicle.

Climb out of vehicle and walk up and down stairs as required in all weather conditions.

Ability to stand multiple hours a day and work in a physically demanding environment.

Work with support team to provide exceptional customer service.

Ability to function calmly and efficiently in multi-tasking environment.
