Job Description

The Purchasing Analyst Reporting to the Purchasing Director to support the company’s strategic plans, play a key role in support the company’s strategic plans by working with our internal business partners to identify cost savings opportunities, business process improvements, and support the daily/discrete procurement needs of the business.Invest in relationships to achieve shared results.

Essential Job Functions Identifies supplier and category spend opportunities to leverage Company volume. Develops and tracks internal and external supply chain metrics Develops and tracks savings metrics, spend metrics, and bills of material Processes and analyzes data sets and produces related reports and recommendations Analyzes and evaluates supplier proposals Updates system and inventory data, leading data quality and assurance Responds to field inquiries in a timely manner and post information to minimize need for inquiries Conducts strategic sourcing events to drive cost optimization and business process improvement Controls spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs Works collaboratively with AP for invoice payment issues May also perform tactical Buying and Planning functions

Qualifications

Requires 3-5 years of previous purchasing experience – hospitality or resort purchasing preferred Ability to maintain strong working relationship with vendors High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Bachelor’s Degree Preferred – Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.
