Seasonal Distribution Center Specialist (Oxnard)

General Description & Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for daily pick/pack of customer orders and customer returns processing inclusive of refurbishment, and data entry. Will perform test counting of vendor deliveries and will organize put away on shelves. This position will work closely with the Supervisor of Distribution Center to ensure our customer’s best interest is served.

Job Description Highlights:

Pick/ pack customer orders.

Process customer returns including correctly marking invoices, product refurbishment, data entry of return paperwork, and put away on shelves.

Ensure daily replenishment of active inventory.

Perform test counts of vendor deliveries and work with Supervisor of Distribution Center regarding put away in designated locations.

Daily organization and cleaning of warehouse facilities as needed.

Required Skill Set:

Understands pick-pack-ship, returns, and inventory receiving processes. Familiarity with how each process impacts the customer.

High degree of personal and professional integrity, self-direction and ability to manage shifting priorities.

Willing to roll up sleeves and comfortable working in a small and fast paced entrepreneurial environment.

Persistent and deadline oriented; willing to drive any task/ project to completion.

Must value team chemistry and thrives on the process of growing from start-up to an established brand. Facilitate a positive working environment through your interactions with others on the team.

Excellent written and oral communication and critical thinking skills.

Ability to operate a computer, basic Excel skill and capability to function in a computerized environment.

Other:

Position reports to: Distribution Center Manager

Other physical requirements: the position requires the ability to stand for periods of time, regularly sit, work at a computer, communicate clearly in writing and verbally, ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Dress code: No open toe shoes. Appropriate warehouse attire.

Availability: Sunday – Friday 7am-10pm PDT, with flexibility to accommodate order volume changes. Some weekend shifts may be available early November through December.
