Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant (Crescent City)

Redwood Focused Care Clinics (a new business affiliated with Redwood Urgent Care) is now looking for a full-time Receptionist/Medical Assistant with experience in the medical field, able to perform Front and Back Office MA tasks, who is ready to start working in Crescent City, CA. This position requires a high degree of customer service, professionalism, and attention to detail. Candidate must be proactive, upbeat, self-sufficient, and comfortable with multitasking. This role requires familiarity with computers, tablets and smartphones, medical terminology, and patient confidentiality laws. Job duties include answering phones, registering patients and insurance, scheduling, preparing labs slips and referrals, rooming patients, measuring vital signs, collecting and recording patient history, relaying test results and instructions to patients as directed by the medical provider. Experience in internal medicine, family medicine, or primary care preferred.
