We have a position open at the Skunk Train in Fort Bragg for General Building and Grounds Maintenance Supervisor.
The Skunk Train is a fast paced and frequently changing environment. Must be able to pass a drug test (meeting federal transportation standards, so no medical marijuana) and physical.
The world-famous Skunk Train is a standard gage passenger railroad that was founded in 1885, and operates 40 miles between Fort Bragg and Willits, in Mendocino County, California.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The General Building & Grounds Maintenance Supervisor working with their team will ensure that all aspects of the Skunk Train operations both guest facing and behind the scenes are clean, neat, tidy, and operating safely.
Supervise and in many instances work alongside all staff in department in Ft. Bragg & Willits.
Plan (including budget) all aspects of maintenance projects.
Plan (including budget) all aspects of daily cleaning / housekeeping operations.
Assist with special events as needed.
Assist with other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Neat and highly organized with attention to detail.
Carpentry and or mechanical skills, with the ability to use tools.
High school diploma or equivalent.
MS Office – Word and Excel.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to lift 50 + Lbs.
