Azure DevOps Engineer

A local non-profit, educational organization in Bucks County, PA is hiring an Azure DevOps Engineer. This role is more of a Solutions Architect, focused on their cloud technologies, thinking strategically as you design and plan solutions for the company's technology environment. This new hire will lead the initiative form ideation to completion, engaging in technical resources and managing vendors. You will be a subject matter expert in Microsoft Azure, able to develop the cloud governance plan and standards. You will also work with the infrastructure and software development teams to support Agile and continuous deployment processes. This open position is a direct-hire with excellent benefits. Ideally, candidates are local to the offices in Bucks County and can travel into the office quarterly. This is a great position for someone who is able to lead technology decision making efforts, mentor junior team members, and has a blend of engineering, analytical and architectural skills. Required Skills & Experience

• 3 years of experience as a Cloud Architect or Engineering with a proven track record of cloud engagements
• Extensive experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud
• Strong project management experience
• At least 5 years of networking engineering, specifically in Microsoft operating systems
• 10+ years of hands on technical experience preferred
• Experience building a cloud governance plan
• Designing cloud connectivity options: VPN, Cloud Connect, Public Ingress, Network Security Groups, etc.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure components
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices
• AGILE, Web Serices, Continuous Improvement/Continuous Deployment CI/CD pipelines
• Local to Bucks County, PA

• Assess cloud computing needs and opportunities
• Working across multiple teams to deliver a solid cloud governance plan and necessary processes and procedures
• Plan, design, coordinate, and manage DevOps automation related activities
• Be the Azure expert
