Summary :

Leads Team Members in ensuring we deliver friendly & thoughtful service in an attractive, well-maintained and clean environment

Accountable for the operational quality of the shift

Helps ensure consistent delivery of our Moments of Truth

Adheres to our House Rules

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Follows Veggie Grill appearance and dress code standards. Insists others on the shift follow them

Conducts shift walk-throughs and completes all tasks required to open, transition and close the restaurant

Actively leads the Team, ensuring all Team focus and energy remains on Guest enjoyment

Walks all areas of the restaurant, positively motivating the Team, actively observing the Team and offering praise and coaching as necessary

Anticipates and predicts the needs of Team Members and Guests

Guest engagement. Checks on Guests at the table to ensure our service and enjoyment standards are delivered

Completes shift administration and banking tasks

Ensures shift staffing is correct and takes corrective action as necessary

Monitors Team deployment. Shifts deployment as necessitated by sales

Supervise training process for new Team Members on the shift

Ensure cleanliness standards are maintained throughout the restaurant

Maintains a focus on Team & Guest Safety

Ensures daily & weekly tasks are completed as required

Maintains balance of costs to sales throughout the shift

Ensures Team Members follow break schedules as mandated

Checks that closing and refresh tasks are completed to standard

Qualifications :

At least two years’ supervisory experience in the Restaurant Industry

Certified in all Team Member positions with Veggie Grill

Flexible schedule to work days, nights and weekend

Education / Experience :

High school diploma or equivalent is required

Language Ability :

Able to speak clearly and comprehend directions in English. Able to read English. Knowledge of Spanish helpful but not mandatory

Reasoning Ability :

Ability and willingness to solve problems individually and as a Team

Physical Demands :

While performing the duties of the job the Team Member is regularly required to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Team Member is required to frequently speak and to hear. The Team Member is occasionally required to lift up to 25 pounds.
