Delivery Dispatch Manager (Eureka)

Days/Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pmWage: $15-18/DOE + BenefitsBenefits: Medical, Paid Time-Off, Paid Training and Company Phone

Job Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate dock operations and personnel including route planning, local and line haul deliveries, equipment and employee utilization, employee payroll and office operations

Cultivate and sustain a safe environment, professional driver experience, and a positive culture

Provide drivers with specific instructions and requirements to correctly perform daily deliveries

Coordinate dispatch orders and provide the proper documentation to drivers for deliveries, drop offs and recoveries

Address problems and requests by transmitting information and/or providing solutions

Prioritize deliveries according to urgency and importance

Monitor Driver staffing and fleet availability to ensure sufficient capacity

Provide basic periodical inspection to fleet vehicles to confirm that they are in proper conditions

Enforce company rules such as break times, safety rules and all other rules of conduct

Assist office staff with administrative tasks such as: new-hire paperwork and training, reviewing and approving employee time cards, coordinating resources shared between companiesRequirements:

Strong verbal and electronic communications skills and a high bar for accuracy and detail

Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook experience required

Lift and move packages up to 60 LBS

Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head

Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation
