Veterinary Client Services Representative / Receptionist

Evergreen Animal Clinic in Santa Maria has an opening for a Veterinary Receptionist. We are a busy multi-doctor small animal clinic open Monday-Saturday. The position can be part- or full-time. We offer an upbeat and caring work environment.

The position requires prior experience in customer service, ideally in veterinary or healthcare customer service. Duties include answering multi-line phones, invoicing and accepting payments, utilizing windows based computer system, and maintaining a clean work environment. The job requires a candidate with a calm demeanor under pressure who can work at a fast pace when required, who can lift 50 pounds, and who is punctual and dependable. Key tasks in a veterinary office are not always pleasant, meaning strong odors, cleaning, and helping our clients during emotionally difficult situations.
