You will become an integral team member of Northrop Grumman's Chief Data Office, and your tasks will include evaluating, developing, implementing, and testing software components and services, as well as working with end users to develop requirements, and provide end user support to debug/resolve issues. As part of IT Operations within the CDO at Northrop Grumman, you will be working on an exciting, cutting-edge platform, enabling Enterprise analytics at Northrop Grumman. The role must be able to work independently under the direction of the Data Operations Manager, have strong communication skills and be able to interface with all levels of ES/Corporate personnel. The successful candidate will be able to grasp information quickly and probe when additional information is needed, all while operating in a virtual teaming environment. The candidate will be looked at as a subject matter expert in the Analytics domain and will work hand in hand with our team and customers helping them architect/design solutions and systems for deployment. Activities include the ability to configure Chief Data Office tools (i.e. Tableau, Alteryx, SQL Server Cluster, and AWS/Azure Cloud Services) to meet the needs of customers; working with customers to demonstrate how they can get value from the tools in supporting their service areas, implementing new features and integrating the tools to provide enhanced capabilities, and provide recurring support of the tools. This position can be performed as a virtual telecommuter. Job Duties -

  • Provide high quality and timely end-user support to help resolve technical issues affecting enterprise applications, software, or SaaS solutions
  • Evaluate opportunities to improve processes, technologies, and user experience-with an eye towards automation
  • Monitor health of technology systems; system benchmarking and analysis/identification/resolution of system bottlenecks
  • Be creative, always thinking about-and delivering-new ways to integrate disparate tools that enhance self-service experiences for end-users
  • Partner with other engineers and developers across Technology and Security to scale integrations for the benefit of the larger organization
Basic Qualifications:
  • 9 Years with BS; 7 Years with Masters; 2 Years with PhD ; or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Highly motivated with a strong passion for problem solving and innovation and the ability to provide complex solutions with limited direction
  • Experience supporting end users and supporting project/program deployments
  • Familiarity with IT Virtual (Linux and Windows)
  • Familiarity working with network devices, servers, and databases
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with IT Systems Design, Deployment and Administration, with recent roles in technical support position
  • Experience with Cloud Native Services in AWS/Azure and Data Science languages (R, Python, Scala)
  • Experience supporting high performance, high scalability, and high availability Enterprise applications is preferred
  • Designing and building enterprise-scale data models, repositories, and integration systems
  • Experience with Agile methodology
  • Experience with DevOps and site reliability engineering
  • Demonstrable experience of designing, deploying, and administering cloud-based analytics solutions across either Amazon Web Service or Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with Tableau Server, Alteryx Server, SQL Server, data analytics, or API management tools is a plus
  • Experience with configuring and deploying containerization technologies at an enterprise level
  • Experience supporting Enterprise COTS tools and cloud hosted analytics services/capabilities.

Salary Range: $107,000 USD - $160,400 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
