Technical Support Analyst

This Desktop Support Analyst role is long-term contract / temporary in nature and is based in the New York, New York, area.What you get to do every day

Preserve, inspect, and mend computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals

Provide support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems

Match hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors

Provide computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures

Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities

Meet regularly and effectively with ticket submitters

Resolve computer problems, and give guidance on appropriate action/solutions Requirements - Desktop support or related experience

Practical knowledge of Windows XP

Demonstrated knowledge of Setups

Strong familiarity with Troubleshoot

Comprehensive knowledge of Technical Support

Earlier work involving Network Printers

General familiarity with PCS

Hardware Troubleshooting experience highly preferred

Adeptness in Network Issues

Good understanding of Windows Vista

Windows OS experience highly desired

Communication Skills experience preferred

Command of Phone Presenc

Background working with Network Troubleshooting

Knowledgeable when it comes to writing reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals
