A bit about us:The leading global manufacturer of precision honing equipment and related accessories.Why join us?A rewarding career with a company that values its employees first.Job DetailsThe Controls Design Engineer will be responsible for delivering engineering results that include the following:- Project management of the machine (on time, on budget) from inception to delivery while being involved and assisting with troubleshooting of issues.
- Design and detail the control schematics and BOM's
- Program the PLC and HMI for a given project.
- Size and specify servo systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years related experience
- Electrical panel layout experience
- PLC and HMI programming experience (Beckhoff or Siemens preferred)
- 2D CAD experience - Wiring diagrams
- Knowledge of NFPA 79, CE Machinery Directive
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
