Together, we are an integral part of an important mission we go to work every day with the knowledge and pride that our accomplishments make a difference.Cyber, Electronic Warfare and Space (CEWS) team is looking to hire an IT Infrastructure Systems Engineer to provide support for EIS developmental and production environments for multiple operating systems (e.g. Windows, Solaris, and Linux),and maintain system performance statistics and metrics.ResponsibilitiesThe IT Infrastructure Systems Engineer (IT-SE) will:
- Design, architect, and build a strategic infrastructure plan.
- Formulate life cycle replacement plans.
- Re-architect enclaves, ensure systems are current and up-to-date.
- Provide strategic infrastructure planning and scheduling.
- Work independently as well as within a team setting to complete assigned tasks within expected schedule to complete.
- Need to be able to be flexible/easily adaptable within a dynamic work environment that may require surge efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related discipline plus at least 9 years of systems engineering experience. A Master's degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 14 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.
- Experience is to include at least three (3) of the following areas:
- knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation; communication protocols; and encryption techniques/tools.
- DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 1 or higher is required.
- DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2 or higher is highly desired.
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communications skills
