Overhead Crane Service Technician (2140 Aurora Avenue)

Full time job opening at Stewart Engineering & Sales as service technician for overhead cranes and hoists. Technician would perform annual required inspections, service, repairs. Perform start-ups and installation of some new equipment. Some light welding. Industrial setting. Territory mostly Muskegon to Holland/Grand Rapids area.

Job Requirements: Prefer experience in overhead cranes/hoist inspection/repair. Prefer Associates Degree in Electronics Technology or some industrial electronics courses.

Strong interest and aptitude to learn.

Mechanical ability

20 years of age min., valid driver's license with good record

Capable of operating scissors lifts, fork lifts, no fear of heights.

No noticeable hearing loss, important for safety and trouble shooting.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsible, honest and patient.

Equipment required: Steel toe work boots, hand tools

Work hours: 5 days/week, 7:00 am-3:30 pm
