Flight Support Assistant Engineer I

Duration: 11 Months

Onsite, College station TX Our team is seeking an experienced Flight Support Assistant.

Key job responsibilities:
  • The Flight Support Assistant will work closely with crew members.
  • Candidates must be self-driven and responsible.
  • Duties include assisting in crew briefings, mission planning, and performing critical roles in field operations.
  • Ensuring a safe operational environment
  • Export Control License
  • This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Part of the Flight crew
  • Prepare for the day's operations.
  • Work with aircraft and flight operations equipment
  • Work on operation to deliver package.
  • Installing batteries, moving aircraft to/from flight line.
  • Working with operator in command to complete checklists safely.
  • Creating SOPs for Processes

Top 3 must have skills:
  • Excellent Communication
  • Problem Solving
  • Time Management
  • Hold a current and valid FAA Part 107

Basic Qualifications:
  • Hold a current and valid FAA Part 107
  • FAA Certificate for small, unmanned aircraft operations
  • 2+ years of work experience or a completed associate degree (nonspecific)
  • Able to lift equipment and carry out physical activity with or without reasonable accommodation (45 lbs.)
  • Able to work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Interest in aviation
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Degree or Certification: Have obtained a high school diploma or equivalent.
