For more information, please visit our website: http://www.grifols.comSummaryThe Healthcare Solutions National Account Manager is responsible for meeting or exceeding sales objectives. The NAM facilitates all aspects of the delivery channel, including Distributors, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), Specialty Pharmacy/Home health organizations, and select health systems. The NAM negotiates contracts with all of the aforementioned entities in order to meet/exceed sales revenue and profitability goals. Primary customer contacts include Senior Supply Chain/Pharmacy Directors, Sales Directors, Procurement and Nursing directors.Primary responsibilities for role

Ensures Grifols meets/exceeds budget objectives on the product portfolio by managing financial responsibilities encompassing contracts and portfolio for each assigned national account and/or distributor.

Negotiates mutually beneficial corporate contracts for assigned national accounts to maximize business opportunities including entire Grifols Healthcare Solutions Portfolio

Manages accounts and contracts for compliance and performance. Negotiates revised terms and conditions via amendments keeping Grifols needs in the forefront.

Develops and delivers quarterly business reviews of all target accounts partners

Develops and manages effective working relationships collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders executing on mutual account business goals. Working within accounts on all levels to uncover business opportunities. - - Acts as a resource to the field sales organization by proactively developing new contracts to ensure Grifols goals are met. Collaborates with sales colleagues on contract's expansion for all assigned products

Builds business plan within assigned accounts developing strategic direction to gain mutual long-term success. Plan will include, but not limited to comprehensive account profile/executive summary, business strategies, key result areas, competitive intelligence, current resources being utilized and coordination/procurement of available resources.

Arranges for Senior Management customer interactions as needed.

Builds and presents account contracting proposals to US Healthcare Solutions leadership

Provides marketplace insight to Sales management, Operations and other internal groups on key issues of national importance

Skills/Qualifications/Education Requirements : (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Typically requires 8 years of related experience working with Group Purchasing Organizations and Distributors for a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company.

Bachelor's degree in health related science or related field. MBA preferred.

Strong knowledge of sales tracking, sales analysis and profitability analysis.

In depth knowledge and understanding of health care industry.

Excellent strategic, analytical, sales, training and platform presentation skills. Excellent organization and communication skills.

Ability to problem solve and influence/ persuade to meet goals and objectives.

Ability to travel frequently.

Demonstrates success in multiple areas of the pharmaceutical industry, including sales, marketing, operations, training etc. with a keen interest in managed markets.

Demonstrates ability to manage more complex business customers, such as health systems.

Proven record of ethical values and health care compliance.

Demonstrates working knowledge of sales analysis and profitability analysis.

In depth knowledge and understanding of health care industry.

Excellent strategic, analytical, sales, training, communication, organization and platform presentation skills.

Ability to problem solve and influence/ persuade others to meet goals and objectives.

Proficient in MS Office (Excel/Pivot Tables, PowerPoint, Word), Adobe, Microsoft Teams

Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. Frequently sits for 6-8 hours per day. Frequent hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. Frequently walks. Occasionally bends and twists neck. Light to moderate lifting and carrying objects with a maximum lift of 25lbs. Frequently drives to site locations and frequently travels within the United States. Able to communicate complex information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Frequently interacts with others, relates sensitive information to diverse groups. Ability to apply abstract principles to solve complex conceptual issues.
