Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. The team is dedicated to providing accurate data and partnering with teams to help them discover actionable narratives, both by describing the past and predicting the future. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing a set of projects and participation in both short- and long-term strategy planning, as well as a background in data analysis and leading data science initiatives. Conduct technical discussions with data scientists, data engineers and architects
Simplify and articulate data stories from complex data analysis
Learn their operational day-to-day processes to better support their critical business needs
Work with stakeholders to prioritize their analytics needs and develop monthly release plan
At times, you will dig into the data yourself to identify trends, gaps, or opportunities for improvements
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities, and solve for root cause issues
Explain your team's analyses and recommendations to leadership while discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers and product managers.
Develop project scopes and determine expectations for work to be done, including defining critical path and work prioritization
Ensure technical risks associated with a project/program are identified and closed or mitigated to enable quality service
Provide regular updates to leadership on team progress toward roadmap deliverables
Coordinate and facilitate team sprint meetings, including tracking progress in JIRA
Mandatory Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field or equivalent professional experience
Experience with SQL and RDBMS technologies
Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to synthesize complex elements into crisp and robust stories for audiences of variable technical levels
Excellent organizational and presentation skills with strong attention to detail
Self-driven, analytical, and results oriented with proven sound judgment
Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate and influence
Able to independently operate in an ambiguous and fast paced environment
Experience with Agile methodologies
Comfortable with base statistics and probability concepts
Preferred Qualifications:5 years managing large scale technical programs and projects spanning multiple teams and organizations moving at an extremely fast pace
Knowledge of customer support or global technical operations core processes, KPIs, and drivers
Understanding of Big Data technologies and solutions
Knowledge of principles for effective visual display of quantitative data
Working knowledge of ETL concepts, and data modeling
Familiar with foundational machine learning algorithms
Experience with designing technical solutions
Experience with operating systems in production, following the DevOps model
Hands on experience in Python / R is a plus.
