Direct Support Professional

North Eastern Services is hiring for Full-Time and Part-Time Direct Support Professionals to care for individuals with intellectual disabilities. An ideal candidate for this position will be able to follow schedules and treatment plans, show compassion, reliability and provide excellent care, display excellent communication skills and positive attitudes.

Requirements to be a Direct Care Professional:

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Be able to pass a Full Criminal Background check and drug screening.

Must have a valid ID or Driver's License and Social Security for background check.

Weekend availability

Basic Responsibilities of Life Skills Instructor/Direct Care staff:

Maintain safety of the clients.

Helping others to improve their knowledge, skills and abilities.

Encourage and assist clients to have a clean environment and help with personal hygiene.

Supervising and participating in activities with the individuals.

Preparing and serving meals while following dietary guidelines.

Daily Documentation/Medication administration.
