General Manager - Supply Chain

Job Description

As a key member of the leadership team, the General Manager of Supply Chain will be responsible for ensuring successful implementation of the Haircare Group strategic and commercial plan in line with budgets and the corporate Values.Working closely with the Directors and Executive Leaders, the GMSC will design, introduce and implement operational and business improvement practices.

• Reporting to the Group Managing Director, the GMSC will beresponsible for ensuring the successful implementation of the Group's strategicplan in line with budgets and the corporate values.
• Lead the purchasing team and supply chain function.
• Operationalise the transformation program within the supply chain function
• Accountable for the leadershipof a large and multi-disciplined team, delivering successoutcomes and building a tech savvy, future focus.

• Extensive experience in a leadership role with an international FMCG or distribution business, with accountability across large multi-disciplined teams.
• Extensive experience with international purchasing and category management.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organisation with strong change management capability.
• Demonstrated experience leading transformation programs in acustomerand sales environment.
• Strong business, project management, financial and analytical acumen
• Experience in consulting with stakeholders in cross-functional teams to enable the delivery of enterprise wide strategic initiatives and prioritized improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in related discipline
• Postgraduate qualification in Business Administration (Desired)
