Performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan Joint Commission and other licensing accrediting and regulatory agencies. Provides all clerical services for a nursing unit including guest relations for families visitors and hospital personnel.QualificationsRequirements:

Current BLS (AHA)

Hospital/medical terminology experience

Computer literacy required

Able to interpret dysrhythmias on the cardiac monitor

High School Diploma or equivalent technical training

Must pass pre-hire dysrhythmia test

Preferred Skills:

Acute care is preferred.

Special Skills:

Must pass annual dysrhythmias test

Ability to have a courteous and professional manner in regard to accomplishing responsibilities

Ability to act with self-direction and able to take initiative

Ability to problem solve

Willingness to work with all staff members toward unit goals

Must have the ability to read write and speak English
